I ordered the chair in dark grey leather and I’m glad I measured first. I had originally ordered 2 until I saw that they were so huge they would be pushed up against each other in my small space, so I canceled one. It’s a very large chair – not tall, low back, but very wide and very deep. For me (5’5″ woman) I can’t put my feet on the floor and reach the back of the chair. I can stuff pillows behind me or I can scoot back and pull my legs up and kind of lay back or curl sideways in the chair.
It’s a bit firmer than I had expected but not at all uncomfortable and I already think it feels a bit less stiff than it did the day I got it.
The color is definitely more of a grayish brown than a gray, like other reviews have mentioned.
Seems to be really good quality and the assembly took me about 30 minutes by myself after entryway delivery, and 20 of those 30 minutes was getting the box and thin foam liner off the chair and out of the way so I could attach the legs. The bottom liner underneath the chair unzips and the legs were inside in a pouch tied with a ribbon and included the legs, 8 screws, 8 washers and a small hex wrench. I gave up on the hex wrench after one leg (I have pain in my hands) and put a matching hex bit in my cordless drill instead to finish up.
